After I had Aadam, about 2 years ago, I felt a little helpless. Sure, I had amazing help from my family and friends during pregnancy and afterwards too, but what about the times where I couldn’t ask them.
Finding a resource online that would provide me with both parenting tips and Islamic knowledge without overwhelming me was near impossible and almost stressful in itself. From the small task of what to pack in a hospital bag to bigger things like what to expect during circumcision required copious amounts of research.
About a year ago, I decided to look into creating a muslim parenting website which had everything in one place. I don’t claim to be the best mum nor an expert on motherhood. Heck, I only have one kid but I’m backed by a small and great team of parents and together we’re created this website to share not just our journey but other parents’ struggles and successes too.
